Cal Beisner on “Climategate”

By Richard Land - Dec 8, 2009 - 1 -

As many of the world's leaders meet in Copenhagen to hammer out a deal to save the world from "climate change"–UN Secretary-general Ban Ki-moon warned the future of the world rests on their actions, a few more segments of the mainstream media are begrudgingly reporting that the e-mail account connected to the Climatic Research Unit at the British University of East Anglia was recently hacked. And what the hacker found–intentionally or accidentally–is doing more than raising eye brows.

It isn't the breach of Internet security that has a growing number of people around the world expressing concern; it is the reported content of the correspondence and attached documents that has tongues wagging. Those who have persistently questioned the validity of the science behind "climate change" now have documentation that appears to indicate at least some of the data supporting climate change is not entirely accurate.

Cal Beisner with the Cornwall Alliance (a coalition committed to presenting a balanced biblical view of stewardship to the issues of environment and development) and skeptic of much of what has been alleged in the global warming arena visited with the Ethics & Religious Liberty Commission exec Richard Land on the discovery of documents, labeled as "Climategate" by some, that appear to reveal a conspiracy to manipulate data and be unethical to suppress other information.

It was reported on our local Christian radio station (KHYM) that the intercepted emails pointed to intentional skewing of climate data to support the claim of global warming.  Evidently, some of the ‘scientists’ exchanging emails also alluded to a motive for the manipulation of the data: global warming calls for a world body to assume greater powers in order to address the problem, and that such a body will dovetail with their agenda of a world government.
