How Your Congressman Voted on Health Care Reform Bill

By staff - Nov 9, 2009 - comment

In a late weekend vote, the House of Representatives passed a 2,000-page health care reform bill, the Affordable Health Care for America Act (H.R. 3962), by a narrow margin, 220-215. Prior to passage of the massive bill to overhaul health care, the House passed an amendment to H.R. 3962 to prevent federal funding of most abortions in the public plan and federal subsidies for private plans. That pro-life amendment passed by a vote of 240-194.
