“If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”
2 Chronicles 7:14

The Ethics & Religious Liberty Commission exists for the church—“the people of God.” We desire to equip you and your congregation with the tools and information to help you better face the social and moral issues of our day. Through the “If My People…” campaign, we are calling Christians to humble themselves, pray, and live intentionally for the glory of God. This type of living may bring you face-to-face with some of the troubles of the world.

Consider joining us as we humble ourselves before God and cry out to Him in prayer, as described in 2 Chronicles 7:14. When we encounter God in this way it will alter the way we see the world around us: people, sin, and even ourselves. If you did not realize it already, you will discover the Word speaks to every part of life.

The “If My People…” commitment describes what can happen next—we become an instrument of God’s healing! We will be changed and will be poised to have an impact on our community and, ultimately, the culture in which we live. Will you join us? Are you ready to make the commitment?

“I will seek to live my life in complete surrender to the will of God. In His power, I will strive to glorify Him by serving my community as an instrument of hope and transformation, reflecting God’s truth to the culture.” Consider joining us…
