Judge Alito Needs Your Support

By Richard Land - Jan 23, 2006 - comment

This week the Senate will begin its debate of the President’s Supreme Court nominee, Judge Samuel Alito. As you know, many Senate Democrats have already indicated their intention to vote against this very qualified candidate. I believe Judge Alito will make a superb associate justice. The hearings confirmed that.

If you agree that Judge Alito should be confirmed by the Senate, your senators need to hear from you right away. Many of them are under tremendous pressure to vote against this fine man. Your call or email can help make the difference in how your senators vote. They need to hear from people in their states, not only from their party headquarters and the special interest groups. If you live in Arkansas, Louisiana, North Dakota, South Dakota, or West Virginia, your calls are crucially important.

I hope you will join with me and make sure your senators hear your voice before they vote. Time is short! If you want to be heard, please call immediately.

I have provided the phone numbers of key senators below.

Arkansas, Senator Mark Pryor – 202-224-2353
Louisiana, Senator Mary Landrieu – 202-224-5824
North Dakota, Senator Kent Conrad – 202-224-2043
South Dakota, Senator Tim Johnson – 202-224-5842
West Virginia, Senator Robert Byrd – 202-224-3954

I look forward to hearing that many thousands of concerned citizens called their senators and made their voice heard. May the Lord wonderfully bless you.
