“Everyone interested in a truly open and fair debate concerning philosophical and scientific questions about the origins of human kind and the universe should see this movie.
If you have lived in the last half of the 20th century and the first part of the 21st, you’ve been exposed to the secularists’ arguments and pontifications.
Ben Stein’s Expelled exposes you to the other side of the argument, the one the secularists strive so hard to keep you from hearing. See Expelled and you’ll understand why they want to censor those who question their dogmas.”

I’m really surprised that apparently it’s not been talked about that the professors that were let go for discussing intelligent design that Baylor Univeristy was one of them in the movie Expelled. Am I being a bit to picky to expect more from a private Christian Southern Baptist Univ?

Hi Cindi,
While I can’t speak about Baylor from personal experience, I suspect that if they use the terms “Christian” and “Baptist” like my alma mater does (Belmont U.), I wouldn’t hold my breath.
These universities are good private schools in a mainstream, liberal arts sense (I would attend Belmont again), but don’t expect their administrators or faculty to operate any differently than those of secular institutions.
Even when I entered BU in the ‘90’s, they described it as “Baptist-affiliated… emphasis on affiliated.” :-)
The reality about these schools is that they function no differently than secular institutions on the administration/faculty levels.
