I listened to Dr. Land’s interview on NPR and was appalled with his statements that Sen. McCain should be the next president because he is “Pro-Life”.  This reference only applies to the abortion issue.  This view indicates that my son’s life was more important before he was born than it is now that he is a brother, husband, and father who is fighting in Iraq.  Shouldn’t “Pro-Life” apply to all life created by God regardless of where in the world they live and what their views are?  Why are war casualties on both sides acceptable but abortion is not?
