World Hunger Fund: Food for the body and soul

Millions of people around the world are touched every year with food for their bodies and the “Bread of Life” for their souls through ministries funded by the Southern Baptist World Hunger Fund.
With a vast army of missionaries and volunteers implementing and overseeing the work, the Southern Baptist World Hunger Fund is able to use 100% of all contributions for hunger relief, with nothing deducted for administrative or promotional expenses—a claim no other relief organization can truthfully make. And when possible, the provisions are given with a message of hope through the saving power of Jesus Christ.
When one considers that meals in World Hunger Fund-supported ministries are being provided at just cents each, it is easy to see that anyone, adult or child, can make this lifesaving difference. The results in terms of lives touched and souls reached for Christ is phenomenal.
As Christians, we are called to reach out to those in need. I am confident that God will honor your gifts and the greater blessing will be yours. As one monthly donor to the World Hunger Fund stated, “My family and I find great comfort in knowing that we are touching so many lives each month with the compassion of Christ and the Good News of His saving grace.”
Won’t you prayerfully consider how God would have you participate in this important ministry? And remember the words of Jesus: “Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of Mine, you did for Me” (Matt. 25:40).
