I listened to Dr. Land’s viewpoint this morning. When a caller expressed to Dr. Land that abortion should not be ruled out in the case of the life of the mother...he very casually sneered with a remark about how.."Oh,please...that’s only in one percent of all cases...oh,please!!!” Well, for every one million birts, that happens to effect the life or death decision for at least 10,000 women...and we are only talking about their physical life or death...not even speaking of mental health, or cases of rape, incest, or the 20% of all pregnancies that end up in a diabetic phase, and in a certain percentage of those cases..the women stays diabetic. I don’t think a woman has the right to take a life without due process, but this man doesn’t have the right to take a life without due process either...that’s why he should keep his religious beliefs out of laws that DICTATE the lives of women...a subject he clearly knows little about.
