“Christians must sound the clarion call against all attitudes and actions that assault the sacredness of human life. We must bear witness by deed as well as by word that human life is sacred. It is a precious, irreplaceable gift from God.”

Hmm, the Lord giveth and sloppy politics taketh away. I would like to see this sanctity-of-life doctrine applied to all areas of policymaking, not just the abortion issue. How can we be concerned about the innocent fetus and not the innocent Iraqi? After all, the Land Letter seems to justify securing quality of life in America at the expense of sanctity of life in Iraq.

God bless everyone, no exceptions.
