So happy to read things like this in the print media and hear a little more on Christian radio and and even secular TV. I have noticed a little more modesty in the way the teen girls dress....As I have two college age teens and one twenty year old granddaughter, it makes me happy to see that they are careful about what they wear. I know it is difficult, as the article states, to find stylish clothes that do not reveal too much. I am thankful that girls are becoming wiser in their choice of clothing.Thank you for this article.

I find it hard to believe in a movement that is supposedly to satiate a womans need for romance and love, when in actuality, the man is the one who benefits.

I’m not saying women should run around naked, mind you, but what is the point in dressing in a way to conceal your body when its the mans fault he cannot control his desires.

It’s not our fault we cant wear a bikini without being gauked at. Especially when men can wear speedos and most women look away.

Great article. I have 3 girls and a boy. We’ve taught our girls that God made our body beautiful but it is not meant for everyone to see. They are young women who love and trust God, their beauty comes from within. They are strong in character and not ashamed to be different. If it is God’s plan that they marry, what a gift and treasure they will be to their husbands as they are now to us. We should be raising young men also, who value modesty. I took my seven year old son to lunch one day. I said, “Joshua, what kind of woman do you want to marry?” “I want to marry a modest woman.” “What do you mean?” “One that doesn’t let her belly button show.” From the example of their fathers and mothers, our children are always watching.
