Dr. Richard Land, president of the Southern Baptist Convention’s Ethics & Religious Liberty Commission, will be delivering a sermon entitled, “If and When God Will Bless America,” Sunday morning, July 6, at Bellevue Baptist Church in Cordova, Tenn.
Land was featured in Time magazine as one of “The Twenty-five Most Influential Evangelicals in America” in 2005.
Land will be preaching during the 9:30 a.m. and the 11:00 a.m. service at Bellevue, as well as signing copies of his latest book, The Divided States of America? What Liberals and Conservatives Are Missing in the God-and-Country Shouting Match!
Princeton and Oxford educated, he has served as president of the ERLC since 1988.
During his tenure as representative for the largest Protestant denomination in the country, Land has represented Southern Baptist and other Evangelicals’ concerns in the halls of Congress, before U.S. Presidents, and in the media around the world.
