Join the ERLC as we have a candid conversation on “Sexual Abuse and the Southern Baptist Convention” at the SBC Annual Meeting on Monday, June 10th at 9 PM. With everything that is happening around us, this is a conversation that Christians desperately need to have.
People in our churches and communities need to know that we are concerned about their safety, not about our reputation. Until that confidence is restored, no one who has been abused will feel safe in our churches. The way we respond in this moment—either in protecting and caring for victims, or defending ourselves and our institutions—will either obscure or adorn the gospel we claim to preach.
The event will take place from 9:00 pm – 11:00 pm on Monday night of the SBC Annual Meeting at the Birmingham–Jefferson Convention Complex, South Exhibit Hall.
Tickets are free. Register today before seats fill up because space is limited.
