Faye Scott accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Savior at the age of thirty-three. Just a few years later, she sensed God’s call on her life and surrendered to fulltime ministry. Faye enrolled at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary (NOBTS) in 1995 where she has since earned a Bachelor, Master of Christian Education, and most recently, a Doctor of Education degree. In addition to her student relationship with NOBTS, Faye has served as adjunct faculty since 2014 in the area of Christian Education. Faye has served as minister to children in four different Louisiana churches since 1995, including First Baptist New Orleans since 2011. In addition, she enjoys leading childhood education training on the local, state, and national levels. Faye, whose husband passed away in 2010, resides in New Orleans. She has three married children and six grandchildren.
