NASHVILLE, Tenn. April 30, 2014Dr. Russell Moore, president of the Ethics & Religious Liberty Commission of the Southern Baptist Convention, is featured in Focus on the Familys small group experience, The Family Project, a companion series to the documentary film Irreplaceable scheduled to show in movie theaters across the country for one night only, Tuesday, May 6.

These important resources explain why the institution of the family is a signpost pointing us directly to God himself and why this truth has profound implications both for the church and for society, says Moore in a promotional video.

Focus on the Family says documentary film “Irreplaceable” and the related The Family Project curriculum equips Christians to:

Truly understand the significance of Gods great plan for humanity through families.

Live with purpose and an eternal perspective.

Model Gods redemptive design for family to their neighbors, peers, co-workers and ultimately, their culture.

In the video, Moore encourages viewers to consider starting or joining A Family Project small group.

These will be encouraging, uplifting and instructive resources for the church for years to come. Moore said.
