Doug Hixson

Doug Hixson is the founding Pastor of Connection Church. He has been married to Dana for 22 years and together they are raising two kids.

Doug moved to Spearfish in 2010 to begin the work of planting the church in Spearfish, S.D., which would become the launching point for three other churches in Belle Fourche, Sioux Falls and Sturgis, S.D. God's favor to see churches launched and become healthy outposts for the Gospel in this underserved area of the nation has been amazing.

Doug is a graduate of Ouachita Baptist University in Arkansas and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas.
