Laura Thigpen

Laura Thigpen is a pastor’s wife, adoptive mom, freelance writer, and an administrative assistant at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. She and her husband, Joseph, serve Imago Dei Church in Raleigh, N.C., where they were part of the team that planted the church in 2011. They also recently completed the adoption of their daughter from Ethiopia. Laura is passionate about discipleship, the intersection of faith and culture, politics, and social justice. She helped start a women’s discipleship initiative at Imago Dei, and she writes on these and other topics occasionally for various outlets.
