Taryn Mays

Taryn Mays serves as the Lead Groups Minister at The Village Church in Plano, Texas. She received her B.S. in Leadership Studies from Texas A&M University and her Masters of Liberal Arts with a focus on Human Rights and Social Justice from Southern Methodist University. Prior to full-time ministry, she worked with sexually abused, exploited, and trafficked women and their children at a Dallas-based non-profit organization. Taryn is passionate about sound biblical literacy informing how the Church can properly care for the hurting and oppressed. She is married to her best friend, Bobby.
