Benjamin Mast

Dr. Benjamin Mast is a professor of Psychological and Brain Sciences at the University of Louisville. He received his bachelor’s degree in Psychology at Calvin College and went on to get his PhD from Wayne State University. Dr. Mast’s research interests include dementia, late life depression, geriatric assessment, person-centered perspectives on Alzheimer’s disease. He is the author of a new book, entitled Second Forgetting: Remembering the Power of the Gospel in Alzheimer’s Disease (Grand Rapids, MI: Zondervan). He is also Co-Editor in Chief of the forthcoming American Psychological Association Handbook of Clinical Geropsychology and the author of Whole Person Dementia Assessment (Baltimore, MD: Health Professions Press) and Alzheimer’s Disease & Dementia (Boston, MA: Hogrefe Press).
