Russell D. Moore Preaches Against Pullback From Politics, Culture Wars

WASHINGTON, D.C., Oct. 25, 2013Russell D. Moore, president of the Ethics & Religious Liberty Commission of the Southern Baptist Convention, appeared live on C-SPAN's Washington Journal program for a discussion on evangelicals and ways they should be involved in politics and culture.

"If we love our neighbors we have to be engaged in the public process," Moore said during the interview. "We have to be concerned as citizens. We have to be fighting against injustice—including injustices such as abortion, sex trafficking and pornography. But we do with an understanding of how the gospel motivates that action and we do it as people who don't see those who disagree with us as ultimately our enemies but as people that we wish to see reconciled to God… "
