The honor was presented April 30 during the ECPA Awards Celebration in Chicago. The Christian Book Award program “recognizes the highest quality in Christian books and Bibles and is among the oldest and most prestigious awards program in the religious publishing industry,” according to the ECPA. Published in September 2018 by B&H Publishing Group, “The Storm-Tossed Family” addresses questions such as, “Why do our families have so much power over us?” and explores how family makes us who we are and how understanding this can liberate us to live without fear. “Dr. Moore is an incomparable writer, thinker and leader.
