In Washington, the new year brings a new Congress, a new Administration, a new balance of power, and carries with it new opportunities to pursue legislation that will serve Southern Baptists and the common good.
We are excited to release today the ERLC’s 2017 Legislative and Policy Agenda. The document lays out our priority legislative and policy initiatives we will engage this year. We have worked on some of these issues before in previous legislative sessions; some of these issues are new. Though not exhaustive, this agenda provides insight into the range of issues the ERLC will focus on this year.
