Byron Day is the Senior Pastor of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Laurel Maryland where he has served for over 26 years. He currently serves as president of the National African American Fellowship of the Southern Baptist Convention. Rev. Day believes in being on mission with God taking the gospel to the whole world. God has blessed his ministry, providing opportunities to minister nationally and internationally. He has ministered in Mexico, South America, several African nations and various places around the country. He formerly served as President of the Baptist Convention of Maryland/Delaware and as President of the African American Advisory Council to the Baptist Convention of Maryland/Delaware. He is graduate of the University of Maryland and Capital Bible Seminary. He has been married to his lovely wife Pamela for over 37 years. They have three children and eight grandchildren.
