Steve Hoppe

Steve Hoppe is the founder and Executive Director of Crosstown Counseling. He has over a decade of counseling experience working both as a pastor and full-time counselor in private practice. Steve received his BS and MS in Industrial Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, his Master of Divinity from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, his Master of Counseling from Westminster Theological Seminary, and his Advanced Counseling Certificate from the Christian Counseling and Educational Foundation (CCEF). He is the author of Sipping Saltwater: How to Find Lasting Satisfaction in a World of Thirst and Marriage Conflict: Talking as Teammates. Besides counseling, his passions include urban ministry, writing, running, Chicago White Sox baseball, Notre Dame football, and anything related to ice cream.
