Supreme Court Cases
What Southern Baptists should know about 2026 Supreme Court cases

Southern Baptists believe that the government has a God-ordained responsibility to protect lives from harm by upholding the sanctity of all life—regardless of age, ability, or any other feature—promoting religious liberty, and recognizing human dignity. These priorities should guide decision-making from the state.
As each case is decided, the ERLC helps Southern Baptists understand the implications of the rulings and navigate these important issues moving forward in our churches and communities in order to shine the light of Christ in our nation.
