Brett Aucoin

Dr. Aucoin has been teaching at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary since 2004, and also serves as Associate Dean for Academic Affairs at The College at Southeastern. He is particularly interested in post-Civil War Southern history, race relations and American religious history. He is married to his wife, Amanda, who is also a professor at the college, and they have four sons. He is the author, most recently, of Thomas Goode Jones: Race, Politics and Justice in the New South (University of Alabama Press, 2016).
