Michelle lives in Humansville, Missouri, with her husband and children. They are owners of a small inn and a tool rental company. Michelle and her family have experienced great suffering during their 21 years of marriage, and she has written about it in her book Beyond the Shallow: How Suffering Led Me to the Deep End of Grace.
