Robert Welch

Robert Welch is the Senior Pastor of the First Baptist Church of Charlotte, N.C. Prior to coming to Charlotte, he served as Senior Pastor of churches in Texas and Louisiana. He’s been intricately involved for 19 years with international mission work in Malawi, Africa, where he helped in the founding an orphan ministry that daily serves over 400 children. He has been married to Kyla for 16 years and together they have three children. Robert was educated at East Texas Baptist University and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
