CAMDEN, Ark., Aug. 16, 2019—Community and church leaders will join together for a special event and dedication service Aug. 17 to celebrate the placement of a new portable ultrasound machine provided by The Psalm 139 Project to the Hannah Pregnancy Resource Center in Camden, Arkansas.
The Psalm 139 Project is a ministry of the Ethics & Religious Liberty Commission of the Southern Baptist Convention focused on aiding pregnancy resource centers in securing ultrasound machines and providing training.
The ultrasound machine is one of two machines being dedicated to Hannah Pregnancy Resource Center Aug. 17. The machine donated by Psalm 139 Project will be used to perform ultrasounds at Hannah PRC’s satellite centers in Camden and Magnolia Arkansas.
Russell Moore, president of the ERLC commented, “It is our joy to support the work of pregnancy centers around the country by equipping them with the latest in ultrasound technology through The Psalm 139 Project. This gift, on behalf of Southern Baptists who have given sacrificially for the sake of caring for unborn children and women in crisis, will no doubt be used as a powerful instrument for good. I pray for the servant leaders at Hannah Pregnancy Resource Center as they play an immeasurably important role in the church's mission to be a witness for human dignity.”
Hannah PRC is a 501c3 non-profit organization, governed by a board of directors and led by an executive director. They were established in 1999 and now have three locations in South Arkansas: El Dorado, Camden and Magnolia.
