It requires demonstrated familiarity with the most controversial issues in Christian ethics and how to message these issues within the public square. This role contributes directly and indirectly to the content development of the ERLC on key ethical issues. This position also coordinates all academic initiatives of the ERLC. Position in Washington, D.C.: (Updated October 28, 2019) Policy Director - Full Time The Policy Director advances the public policy interests of the Southern Baptist Ethics & Religious Liberty Commission before the U.S. government and intergovernmental organizations. The Policy Director manages all aspects of a portfolio of policy issues and directs resources to make a tangible impact advancing these issues.
