Yes, the ERLC has worked with other groups on limited-scope projects when the goals of those projects align with the ministry assignment given to the organization by the Southern Baptist Convention. Such limited-scope projects represent the kind of efforts endorsed by the ERLC’s confession of faith, the Baptist Faith & Message. Article 15 encourages the ERLC to work with others “in any good cause” acting “in a spirit of love” and “without compromising [our] loyalty to Christ and His truth.” All of this work takes place under the direction of ERLC trustees, who are approved by the convention.
