What is the Resourcing the Church Initiative?

Resourcing the Church

In keeping with the vision of an ERLC that serves our churches well, the ERLC staff is dedicated to addressing many of the pressing cultural and ethical issues affecting our churches that require biblically faithful pastoral responses. The Resourcing the Church Initiative (RCI) is designed to help equip pastors and other ministry leaders with practical resources to tackle some of these issues.

Each of the resources in this effort, referred to as church guides, contains two sections. The first section provides a theological framework that is grounded in Scripture and faithful to our denomination’s confession of faith, the Baptist Faith & Message. The second section incorporates godly pastoral wisdom to address practical, real-world scenarios that churches encounter by building off the theological affirmations.
