The Biden Administration has sought to manipulate the regulatory process to push forward its pro-abortion agenda.
In 2023, the administration pushed forward changes that expanded the “contraceptive mandate,” reformed HIPPA for abortions, mandated abortions be provided to unaccompanied immigrant girls at the border, and required employers to provide leave for employees to obtain abortion. Many of these regulations have since been finalized with minor changes in response to public comments.
The ERLC will continue to push back on all of these efforts alongside our partners through filing public comments and engaging in the federal rulemaking process.
