Pregnancy Resource Centers have been on the front line of serving and providing care for women and their families for decades.
Following the Dobbs decision, many of these centers were violently attacked and have faced growing hostility. Since then, we’ve seen growing attempts to hinder the work of these centers and categorize them as proponents of misinformation, even by state governments.
Yelp and other search engines moved to label these centers in a way that casts doubt on the legitimacy of services that they provide. In addition to pushing back on these efforts, the ERLC supports a new piece of legislation, the Pregnancy Center Support Act, which would incentivize donations to these lifesaving organizations.
