ERLC to Host Religious Liberty Panel With Moore, Warren, Rodriguez & Platt at SBC Annual Meeting

WASHINGTON, D.C. May 1, 2014The Ethics & Religious Liberty Commission will host two events, Hobby Lobby and the Future of Religious Liberty and Questions and Ethics Live on June 9-10 at the 2014 annual meeting of the Southern Baptist Convention (SBC) in Baltimore, Md.

The Hobby Lobby and the Future of Religious Liberty panel discussion will be held on June 9 at 9:00 p.m. ET at the Baltimore Hilton in the Holiday Ballroom 4/5 & Corridor on Level 2.

The ERLC will also host a Questions & Ethics Live event with Moore and Matt Chandler, pastor of “The Village Church,”:http://www.thevillagechurch.net/article-leader/595002/matt-chandler/ June 10 at 5 p.m. ET. Moore and Chandler will take questions submitted by the audience on issues related to theology, ministry and culture.

With each passing day, Christians are confronted with an increasingly secular society seeking to silence all of those who do not sing from the hymnbook of sexual revolution, said Moore. We’ll plan to address these issues this June at the annual meeting of the SBC, and I invite all to come to these events to think through how we can engage the culture with a gospel focus and a gospel answer.”
