Dr. Richard Land, president of the Southern Baptist Convention’s Ethics & Religious Liberty Commission, will address the issues of abortion and the sanctity of human life at the Tennessee Rally for Life on the steps of the State Capitol Jan. 22.
Bishop-Elect David Choby of the Nashville Catholic Diocese and Pastor Henry Coles, Jr. of Nashville’s Word of Faith Church will join Land at the event sponsored by the Tennessee Right to Life. Nicole Mullen, Dove award-winning artist, will also be part of the rally.
Other religious and political leaders from across Tennessee will gather at the Capitol to demonstrate their concern for the protection of human life in the state and the nation.
The rally will begin at 2:00 p.m. and will be open to the public. Contributions to help defray expenses can be mailed to 4802 Charlotte Avenue, Nashville, TN 37209-3412.
