Charles R. Moore, Jr.

Pastor Charles R. Moore, Jr. serves as the senior pastor of the First Baptist Church of Paducah, Ky. Beyond Kentucky, Charles has shepherded congregations in California, Illinois, and North Carolina. Pastor Charles first sensed a call to ministry while a student at the University of Kentucky College of Law. In addition to his juris doctorate, he holds degrees from the University of Kentucky and Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Charles is passionate about preaching God's Word, and generally delivers expository sermons as he teaches through books of the Bible; he is committed to the relevant and practical application of Scripture to real life. Pastor Charles has enjoyed numerous opportunities to serve people through Christian mission and relief work in Armenia, Bosnia, China, Croatia, Czech Republic, England, France, Haiti, Mexico, Romania, Taiwan, and Uganda. He wants everything he does to be marked by grace and truth. Charles is married to Eileen, his best friend and partner in life and ministry. Eileen is an attorney with a passion for religious freedom. In addition to their commitment to religious liberty, Charles and Eileen are committed to their wonderful son, who is a college student. The Moore Family seeks to love each other, and their church family, for the glory of Christ.
