John Powell
John Powell is the senior pastor of Emmanuel Baptist Church in New Caney, Texas. Previously, he served as senior pastor of First Baptist Church in Hamlin, Texas, director of admissions at Southern Seminary, and discipleship pastor at Carlisle Avenue Baptist Church in Louisville, Ky. After graduating from Southwest Baptist University, he earned a M.Div from Southern Seminary. John and his wife, Katherine, have four children.
