Ken Magnuson

Research Fellow

Ken Magnuson serves as the executive director of the Evangelical Theological Society. He also serves as professor of Christian ethics at Southwestern Seminary. He previously taught at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary and the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. At Southern Seminary he served as the director of the Commonweal Project on Faith, Work and Human Flourishing.  In addition, he serves on the editorial board for Themelios and the American Friends of Tyndale House.

Magnuson is an author and a member of Evangelical Theological Society. In addition to his duties as executive director, he chairs the Christian Ethics steering committee. He is also a research fellow at the Ethics and Religious Liberty Commission and an Oikonomia Fellow for Acton University.

Magnuson is married to Katherine, and they have four children.
