P.J. Tibayan

P. J. Tibayan is a member and pastor-theologian of Bethany Baptist Church in Bellflower, California, shepherding the church to share their lives so neighbors know God in order to live with his joy, hope, and love. He also helps lead The Gospel Coalition L.A. and the Shepherd LA Initiative to connect and resource like-minded pastors for healthier churches in L.A. He blogs at gospelize.me. P.J. has completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in biblical studies with an emphasis on biblical languages from The Master’s University, a Master of Divinity degree from The Master’s Seminary, and the pastoral internship at Capitol Hill Baptist Church in Washington, D.C., a master's degree in missional leadership from The Resurgence Training Center, and a doctorate in biblical theology from Southern Seminary (DMin). He and his wife, Frances, have five children.
