Dr. Robert J. Anderson, Jr. is in his 17th year of ministry at Colonial Baptist Church in Randallstown, MD. Dr. Anderson is originally from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. While being born on the banks of the Susquehanna River, he was “born again” by trusting Christ as his personal Lord and Savior at a revival meeting at New Hope Primitive Baptist Church in Steelton, Pennsylvania, on Friday, January 12, 1973. Several months after salvation, he attended Carver Bible College in Atlanta, Georgia, and received a B.B.E. degree. He then attended Grace Theological Seminary in Winona Lake, Indiana, and graduated with a Master of Divinity degree in 1982. Dr. Anderson has been faithfully preaching the gospel for thirty-nine years and shepherding the flock of God for thirty two years. Dr. Anderson has been married to Jacqueline Sullivan for thirty-three years. Together they have four children: Shani, Robert III, Nia, and Jamila.
