Elizabeth Oates

Elizabeth Oates is an author, blogger, and speaker whose family tree was plagued with generations of divorce, dysfunction, and brokenness. Today she advocates for healthy marriages and families and also encourages women to find their identity in Christ and purpose in the mundane. Elizabeth earned her B.A. from Baylor University and her M.A. in Marriage and Family Studies from Dallas Theological Seminary. She is currently working on her doctorate in Marriage and Family Therapy from Liberty University. She lives in Waco, Texas, with her husband, Brandon, and their five children, including three biological and two they adopted through foster care.
