ERLC to host conversation on Gospel Sexuality in a #MeToo Culture at SBC Annual Meeting

DALLAS, Texas, May 11, 2018—The Ethics & Religious Liberty Commission of the Southern Baptist Convention will host a conversation on “Gospel Sexuality in a #MeToo Culture” at the SBC Annual Meeting Monday, June 11 at 9 p.m. CDT at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center.

The event will address how the gospel shapes issues in today’s culture including sexual assault, sexual abuse, domestic violence, pornography, infidelity and more.

Speakers include:

  • Russell Moore, president, ERLC
  • Trillia Newbell, director of community outreach, ERLC
  • James Merritt, lead pastor, Cross Pointe Church,
  • Jamie Ivey, author, speaker, podcaster of The Happy Hour

The event will equip churches to navigate these complex topics as they seek to provide protection and hope to those who have experienced the brokenness of sexual sin.
