NASHVILLE, Tenn., May 28, 2026—The Psalm 139 Project, a pro-life ministry of the Ethics & Religious Liberty Commission, in partnership with the Tennessee Baptist Mission Board, will dedicate an ultrasound machine to Hope Resource Center on May 29.
The dedication will take place at 11 AM EST at the center located at 2700 Painter Ave. Knoxville, Tenn., 37919. ERLC Executive Vice President Miles Mullin will be in attendance along with Beth Moore, Compassion Ministry Specialist of the Tennessee Baptist Mission Board, and David Creswell, Missions Pastor from First Baptist Concord.
“Hope Resource Center is about saving lives, and this machine will help them save more,” said Miles Mullin, ERLC Executive Vice President. “For nearly 30 years, the faithful staff at the center has been ministering to moms and dads at their greatest point of need. As we dedicate this ultrasound machine, we pray God’s blessings on their efforts on the front lines of prolife ministry. Ultrasound technology isn’t just a ‘window to the womb.’ It’s a life‑saving gift that empowers centers to share the hope of the gospel and walk alongside women and families. It’s a privilege to partner with Hope Resource Center and the Tennessee Baptist Mission Board in this work, and we are praying for many more machines to be dedicated in the years to come for the need is great.”
Hope Resource Center is a cost-free healthcare center for women offering medical care by licensed professionals for reproductive health concerns, education, and connection with community resources. Their mission is to equip women to make informed and healthy reproductive decisions. All services offered by Hope Resource Center are free and confidential.
“We are deeply grateful for this incredible blessing from the Psalm 139 Project,” said Emily Ratliff, executive director of Hope Resource Center. “This new ultrasound machine is more than equipment—it is an opportunity to provide hope, clarity, and compassionate care through clearer images and life-affirming moments as moms encounter the miracle of the life growing within them.”
One hundred percent of financial contributions designated to the Psalm 139 Project go toward purchasing ultrasound machines and providing training for workers.
