NASHVILLE, Tenn., May 15, 2026—The Psalm 139 Project, a pro-life ministry of the Ethics & Religious Liberty Commission, in partnership with the Southern Baptist Convention of Virginia, will dedicate an ultrasound machine to IMGN Life in Fredericksburg, Virginia, on May 15.
The dedication will take place from 9:30-11 AM EST at the center located at 10008 Southpoint Pkwy, Fredericksburg, Virginia, 22407. Staff from the ERLC and SBCV as well as an ERLC trustee will be in attendance.
“It’s a privilege for the ERLC to partner with the SBCV in placing a machine at IMGN Life in Fredericksburg,” said Rachel Wiles, director of the Psalm 139 Project. “After celebrating our 100th ultrasound placement last week, we’re honored to continue this work by helping this center grow its ministry by serving more women, supporting more families, saving more babies, and creating more opportunities for gospel-centered care.”
Funding for the machine was made possible by the SBCV, as well as gifts to the Psalm 139 Project. Since abortion is legal in Virginia up to 27 weeks, gifts to the Across State Lines initiative were also utilized for this placement.
IMGN Life exists to help those facing unplanned pregnancies. Through compassionate care, mentorship, and resources, the center provides a path to hope and healing for families in crisis.
“Today, we dedicate more than an ultrasound machine—we dedicate a powerful instrument of hope, compassion, and life-affirming care,” said Christian Johnson, executive director of IMGN Life. “Because of the generosity of the SBCV, the ERLC, and the Psalm 139 Project, countless women and families will receive not only pregnancy medical support, but reassurance, dignity, and the opportunity to see the precious life growing within them. Your investment will create ripple effects for years to come, changing hearts & minds, strengthening families, and helping spare lives from the tragedy of abortion. We are deeply grateful for the partnership of the ERLC, the Psalm 139 Project, and the SBCV in our mission.”
One hundred percent of financial contributions designated to the Psalm 139 Project go toward purchasing ultrasound machines and providing training for workers. The Cooperative Program provides the promotional, administrative, and other costs associated with the project. Tax-deductible gifts may be made online to The Psalm 139 Project or via check to ERLC, 901 Commerce Street, Nashville, Tenn., 37203. Learn more at psalm139project.org.
