ERLC’s Psalm 139 Project to Dedicate Ultrasound Machine to Life On Wheels in Partnership with the Alabama Baptist Mission Board

NASHVILLE, Tenn., June 22, 2026—The Psalm 139 Project, a pro-life ministry of the Ethics & Religious Liberty Commission, in partnership with the Alabama Baptist Mission Board, will dedicate an ultrasound machine to Life on Wheels on June 25.

The dedication will take place at 1 PM CST at 8527 Ryan Rd. Montgomery, AL 36064. ERLC Director of the Psalm 139 Project, Rachel Wiles, will be in attendance, along with Mike Jackson, Associate Executive Director of the Alabama State Board of Missions.

Life on Wheels exists to use the power of ultrasound to serve women, save babies, and share Jesus. Its vision is to “envision an abortion-free Alabama because nobody wants one.”

“Eighty-nine percent of women who see their own baby on ultrasound will choose to parent, even if they were originally planning an abortion,” said Robyn Blessings, executive director of Life on Wheels. “Ultrasounds not only save lives – they change hearts.”

One hundred percent of financial contributions designated to the Psalm 139 Project go toward purchasing ultrasound machines and providing training for workers. The Cooperative Program provides the promotional, administrative, and other costs associated with the project. Tax-deductible gifts may be made online to The Psalm 139 Project or via check to ERLC, 901 Commerce Street, Nashville, Tenn., 37203. Learn more at psalm139project.org.

“Just last month, we celebrated the Psalm 139 Project’s 100th ultrasound placement that was dedicated to a center in North Carolina,” said Wiles. “Pregnancy resource centers like Life on Wheels are the real heroes of the prolife movement as they seek to save lives and serve vulnerable families in crisis. I’m so thankful for the gift of this work and pray that this machine would be a vehicle to save lives for many years to come.”
