In early 2016, the ERLC partnered with Focus on the Family to host Evangelicals for Life—a pro-life gathering held in conjunction with the March for Life. Charmaine Yoest, a longtime champion for the rights of the preborn, gave an address titled, “Dignity and destiny: Women and abortion in the 21st century.”

Charmaine began her career in The White House during the Reagan Administration and served as a Senior Advisor to the 2008 Huckabee for President Campaign. She is also the co-author of Mother in the Middle, an examination of childcare policy, published by HarperCollins. Formerly, Charmaine served as President & CEO of Americans United for Life (AUL).
