Nashville, Tenn., Jan. 12, 2026 —The Psalm 139 Project, a pro-life ministry of the Ethics & Religious Liberty Commission of the Southern Baptist Convention, has donated an ultrasound machine to Arms of Grace Pregnancy Resource Center (PRC) in Burlington, N.C., with funding provided by the North Carolina Baptists and Provision Financial Resources.
A dedication ceremony will be held Jan. 14 at 1:00 p.m. EST at Arms of Grace PRC located at 137 O’Neal S, Burlington, N.C., 27215. Attendees will include: Rachel Wiles, director of the Psalm 139 Project; RaShan Frost, ERLC director of research; Seth Brown, NC Baptists director of the convention relations group; and Kevin Qualls, executive vice president of Provision Ministry Impact Strategies at Provision Financial Resources.
“Once again, we are thrilled to be able to place a life-saving machine in North Carolina and in so doing, expand the pro-life ministry of this center,” said Rachel Wiles. “Having ultrasound services in house will allow Arms of Grace to better minister to each woman who walks through the door. We know when a woman sees her preborn child, she can no longer deny the humanity of her child. Ultrasounds truly save lives.”
Arms of Grace Pregnancy Resource Center is a Christian non-profit based out of Alamance County, N.C., working to educate, encourage, and empower individuals through their journey of parenthood. Sarah Dove, executive director of Arms of Grace, said the placement of the ultrasound machine will provide new opportunities for the center to reach women in their community.
“The new ultrasound machine we have been awarded, through the Psalm 139 Grant, will give Arms of Grace PRC the capability to offer ultrasounds to the Alamance, N.C. community at no cost,” said Dove. “This is a huge step forward for women and men in need of fast, reliable, and tangible images of the life growing inside of them. There is a confidence that comes with seeing your child growing, rather than just imagining what might be.”
This ultrasound was funded by the generosity of NC Baptists and Provision Financial Resources. Todd Unzicker, director of NC Baptists, commented on the placement.
“Arms of Grace is a vital ministry in a strategic region of North Carolina,” said Unzicker. “This ultrasound placement will help save the lives of precious children made in the image of God. I personally can’t say thank you enough to the staff and volunteers at Arms of Grace, along with our partners at Psalm 139, Provision Financial Resources and generous N.C. Baptist churches across our state.”
One hundred percent of financial contributions designated to the Psalm 139 Project go toward purchasing ultrasound machines and providing training for workers. No ERLC Cooperative Program resources are used to purchase these machines or provide the training.
